*MORNING SHOWERS OF BLESSINGS MEDITATIONS (MSBM)*

THEME: *TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOUR OWN*

*Case Study “EMBOLO”; the Cameroonian born Swiss football player. Read and share this particular meditation. We have to learn the lesson the hardest way*

Episcopal greetings and blessings. Most of us watched the football game yesterday but if you didn’t, then I want to inform you that Cameroon lost in their first world cup match to Switzerland 0-1 and the only goal was scored by a Cameroonian born player now playing with Switzerland. We lost him to another country. After the match yesterday some lunatics went to burn down their house in Yaounde. Shame want kill me yesterday when I see that particular video. This is total disgrace to this nation. And we know the type of people who reason like this who went to burn that house. That is why in our country we can burn down schools, burn hospitals and burn roads and bridges; after all what do we know? I tire we ya!. The player’s mother was heard talking that nobody should touch her child and the other children. That it is the Swiss people and government that have sponsored all her children. It was the Swiss that trained her son to play for them and when he wanted to play for Cameroon, they were asking him to pay some money before playing. I do not have verification to the above statements but is this far from being true about our country? We will reject professionals and take amateurs if they know how to play the language of greasing our palms. Shame to us that we have refused to learn. This attitude is also in the Church too where pastors who are not that competent are sent to bigger parishes and Churches to work because they will give kick backs to the leadership. This cankerworm is everywhere and has eaten deep into our system. Where man go hide e head for this country ehh. Even football that was to give us small hope and joy (opium) so that for sometime we can forget our pain of war and hunger, has resurface a terrible injury to us again.

Some people say they have been calling some players playing abroad and they have refused to come . A good example is Joel Matip. That’s true but there are few cases where the players out of greed themselves refuse to play for their third world country but most often when such brilliant players want to play for their home countries, the coaches or system in place begin to ask for commission from the match bonus. These are stories we hear and it has come out in the case of Embolo. These are facts and the underdogs would be preferred because they will swell the pockets of the business men in football jackets. The lesson taught us yesterday is very clear and we must learn to admit that we are loosing not only players but also doctors, scientists, investors and investments due to inflated taxes etc. Cameroonians are building house out of their country. Buying real estates in Dubai than in Cameroon. Some don’t even ever think of returning not because they can’t or because they don’t want. How can they even come to a country shattered by war and threats of life and kidnapping? This lesson also is not only for Cameroon but also for Africa as a whole.

Before I conclude, did you listen to the interview granted by the Song? The Cameroonian coach said they know Embolo very well and he’s close to him and if you watch some of the videos before the match, it confirms that they know him. Did they call him for test matches? No!. Did they consider that he can even play as a good player? No! Did they even think he could play as a great nine shirt player and even score? No! What happened? You have to answer these questions. What we don’t value, my conclusion is, others will value more for us. Lesson must be learned else history will repeat itself. Then some frustrated Cameroonians went to burn their house down . Shame no dey do we self. I tire some kind things them sep.

Value your husband and your wife. If you don’t your neighbours will take. Value your children because some people don’t even have one. Value your business partners because if you don’t they will go next door. Value your customers because customer is king. Value your friends . You may not know their value until you loose them. Pastors value your member before they disappear. Christians value your anointed men of God before they are transferred to another place or to heaven. Value what you have. Value your own. If you don’t, others will make great use of it/them.
