TEXT: ISAIAH 24:1-23
THEME: LET MY ACTIONS INFLUENCE MY SURROUNDING POSITIVELY
Dear friend in Christ Jesus good morning blessings and win today. Today we are looking at the prophecy against the dwellers of the earth. God says, the consequences of what we do will affect everything around us. Whatever you do will either set out for good or bad and it will not only affect you but also those around you.
The first thing is that we are told in the first five verses of today’s chapter that God’s judgement will be for both the great and small. Nobody will escape God’s judgement. Nobody will be privileged to escape God’s wrath. We are therefore called upon to make sure that we do not commit ourselves to errors because it will not only affect us but it can also affect nature. This is also known as ecological sins when we sin against nature and it now results in climate change, flood , drought and earth warm.
One error you commit at an end can cause your family, village, or community or nation to reap the effects.
God calls us in this chapter to be watchful else we plunge ourselves and those around us into a level of unreserved calamity. We must not live our lives anyhow but we must watch our every action and decision so that we preserve both us and our surroundings.
Take a brief moment now and think about your actions, your decisions, your dealings, your engagements, your relationships etc; do they glorify God? If they do, go ahead and do more but if they do not, take a step backward and review your steps and make a drastic change for your own good and the good of the people around you.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, help me to live in accordance with your Word and Ordinances. I refuse to go the way of the flesh no matter how I am tempted and derailed. I win all my fears and battles of the flesh, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Amen and Amen.
