MORNING SHOWERS OF BLESSINGS MEDITATIONS (MSBM)
THEME: THE STORM WILL BE OVER SOMEDAY
TEXT: MARK 4:35-41
Greetings and blessings. The disciples were with Jesus Christ in the boat and the storms rage and the boat about to sink and the fear of dying in the middle of the sea even in the presence of the Prince of the universe, was something that the disciples didn’t understand.
✓ It didn’t matter because they were with Jesus Christ that the storms would not come.
✓ It didn’t matter that Jesus Christ was present in the boat and in their lives that the storms would not attack.
✓This is to tell us that being in Christ or being with Christ does not exclude you from the challenges of life.
Jesus Christ didn’t tell us that the moment you come to Him, all your problems will be over. I have not seen that verse in the Bible yet. If you’ve seen it please kindly show it to me. On the contrary Jesus Christ prepared us and said “In this world you shall have tribulations but be of good cheers for I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). The word tribulations is bigger than problems. That word includes persecutions, rejection, denials, abandonment, name calling, blackmail, sabotage etc. So if you’re passing through all these or some of these, remember that Jesus Christ knows that you’re passing through them and like the disciples in the boat, we don’t need to be fearful or cry out saying”Jesus Christ don’t you care that we are dying?” (Mark 4:38). Jesus Christ is in the boat of your life. He’s not asleep, for he who watches over Israel (BAH Pius) put your name here (……………), will neither sleep nor slumber (Psalm 121:3-4). All we need is to rush to him and present to him the problem He already knows and watch how He will stand up in your favour and say to the storms tormenting your life, “Be still and know that I am God” (Mark 4:39).
You will not drown in that sea of life. That water will not sweep you away and neither shall the fires of life burn you up. God is with us. He will not allow our enemies to gloat over us (Psalm 35:19). He is an ever present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Let’s turn to him again and again today invite Him and let him come into our battles and calm the storms of our lives. We will overcome. Remember the song lyrics of R. Kelly “The Storm is Over Now”. Someday, these struggles will become our laughing testimonies. I believe so. Do you believe? The storm will be over, in fact the storm is over now. Trust God that He has taken the storm away and you’re going to testify. Peace and Love my dear. The Lord is on the throne and it is well. Shalom!!!

Heavenly Father, thank you for taking over my battles. I am grateful. Thank you Lord. I’m grateful is all I can say to you this morning. Amen. NomannopassGod !!!
