MORNING SHOWERS OF BLESSINGS MEDITATIONS (MSBM)
TEXT: 1 PETER 5:8-10
THEME: WATCH OUT! YOUR ENEMIES WILL USE YOUR MISTAKES AGAINST YOU
Dear friend in Christ Jesus good morning blessings. God has sent me to speak to you on very serious issues about life this particular week. Today I want to talk about common mistakes we make that the enemy uses against us. Do you know that those who hate you are waiting for you to make many mistakes so that they can capitalize on them to destroy you? Yes, they will capitalize on them. They will project them. They will spread them everywhere for everyone to see. They will announce them to your benefactors/those who are helping you. Their intentions are to scandalize you, defame you, ridicule you, degrade you, disgrace you, discredit you, so that those who believe in you and are standing with you or supporting you should all withdraw. This is one of the strategies of the devil to crumble people like you down without much effort. You must know the common tactics of the enemy.
The boss or colleagues who don’t like you will use just one thing to destroy you, your errors or your mistakes. If you come to work late, they will use it. So avoid going to work late. If you’re not stable at work, they will use it. They might even give you verbal permission and when you’re not on your desk, they will inform management that you’re not on seat and that you’re inconsistent and management will act upon the evidence. Remember they act in cunning ways. If you cannot do your job or assignments well and tidy up your desk, they will write reports indicating that the failure is coming from your department. You will not be able to argue because the evidence is on the ground. They will use it and cause the management to fire you and they will stand aloof as if they did nothing, whereas they are the reason for your leaving, suspension or dismissal. The day you’re packing to leave, they will come to sympathize with you as if they know nothing.
What I am trying to teach you today is for you to watch every step you take. Life has become so complicated that many people succeed today at the detriment of others. Many want to climb up only by pulling others down. The worst place this is happening is in the Christian milieus.
✓ Why must you succeed by making others failures?
✓ Why must you succeed by destroying others?
✓ Why must you succeed by sabotaging, blackmailing or doing everything you can to pain others black?
What such evil people don’t know is that, life pays us with the same coin we pay others with. Don’t think that because you succeeded in destroying someone and toasting wine glasses that you will go scout free. Have you ever heard the saying “There’s no free lunch?” Do you know what that statement means? It means a whole lot of things. You will pay someday for what you ordered. You cannot enter a restaurant and order food and expect someone to pay at the end. What you ordered for others, you will pay the bills. Tell the devil I said so. You cannot harvest plantains when you planted wickedness.
Meanwhile, while the haters are paying for their wicked evil deeds, Child of God do all you can to avoid making mistakes that will work at your disadvantage. What I teach you are facts of life. I say this again, not everybody who is smiling with you is happy with the level of your success. Maybe you have not even succeeded but the enemies don’t know that you’re still struggling, so they can still break the eggs so that it doesn’t hatch its new chicks. Don’t allow anyone to break your eggs before they hatch. Watch your back. This is the voice of someone crying in the desert. I am only a messenger, I am the voice of John the Baptist. I am praying for you but please pray more for yourself. Prayer these days is not optional but obligatory. Our text says, the devil is roaming like a roaring Lion looking for someone to devour. I prophesy to you child of God, You shall not be their candidate, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Amen.
